A tragic accident occurred on Saturday in Filzmoos, Austria, when a 23-year-old man from Pongau fell to his death while descending the Bischofsmütze mountain.
The young man was climbing with two companions when he lost his footing at an altitude of 2,300 meters, falling approximately 100 meters down a gully.
His companions quickly initiated a rescue effort and descended to assist him.
Unfortunately, the emergency doctor from the rescue helicopter could only confirm the man's death at the scene.
