A 44-year-old woman tragically died from hypothermia after falling into a shallow stream in St.
Stefan im Rosental, Austria.
The incident occurred late Saturday night after she left a local bar to smoke a cigarette.
Witnesses reported she had been drinking before the fall.
The woman tumbled down a 2.5-meter embankment into the stream, where she was later found lifeless by passersby.
Emergency services confirmed her death at the scene.
An autopsy revealed no signs of foul play, and authorities believe she succumbed to the cold.
Her family has been informed, and the body has been released for burial.
