A 62-year-old German tourist tragically passed away on Thursday afternoon in St.

Michael, Salzburg Lungau.

The man collapsed immediately after leaving an alpine hut on the Katschberg, where he had been with his family.

Despite the presence of doctors who attempted resuscitation, their efforts were in vain, and the man was pronounced dead shortly after.
