A tragic incident occurred at Wolfgangsee in Upper Austria when a father drowned in front of his three children.

The 40 to 45-year-old Czech man was swimming with his kids near Abersee when a storm approached.

In an attempt to bring them to safety, he ventured just five meters from the dock but suddenly went under the water.

Despite the rapid response from over 100 rescue personnel, including firefighters, police, and water rescue teams, he was found eight meters deep using a diving search chain.

The rescue operation involved drones, boats, and a medical helicopter, highlighting the urgency of the situation.
