A large-scale search operation is underway at Weyregg am Attersee, Austria, for a child who reportedly disappeared after jumping from a diving tower at a local beach.
The search began around 1 PM on Friday, involving water rescue teams, firefighters, police, and the Red Cross.
Witnesses reported seeing a girl, possibly aged between 10 and 13, wearing a pink or orange swimsuit, slide into the water from an inflatable water slide and not resurfacing.
Despite the extensive search efforts, including the use of drones and sonar, no parents have reported a missing child, leading to speculation that it might be a false alarm.
The search continues with full intensity as rescuers hope for a positive outcome.
