In Telfs, Tirol, a car caught fire in the garage of a multi-apartment building, leading to the evacuation of around 100 residents.
The incident occurred late Friday afternoon when a technical defect caused the vehicle to ignite, filling the building with smoke.
Firefighters quickly responded, managing to control the blaze and ventilate the premises.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The smoke spread was so extensive that four residential buildings had to be evacuated as a precaution.
Investigations are ongoing, but authorities suspect a technical fault as the cause of the fire.
