Vienna is gearing up to host the first-ever Tramway World Championship in 2025, transforming the Ring in front of the Rathaus into a competitive arena.
This event follows the city's success in the Tramway European Championship, where Vienna's team, including Julia-Melanie Parzer, aims to defend their title in Frankfurt this September.
The competition will feature six disciplines, with the most thrilling being Tram-Bowling, where drivers must skillfully knock down inflatable pins with a ball.
Vienna's tram drivers, known for their expertise, are excited to showcase their skills on an international stage.
The championship will see participation from 25 teams worldwide, highlighting Vienna's prominence in tramway sports.
