The 15th edition of Game City is set to transform Vienna's Rathaus into a gaming paradise from October 11 to 13. This annual event, organized by the city's youth service WienXtra, offers free entry and is expected to attract around 70,000 visitors, similar to last year.
Attendees can explore the latest gaming trends, participate in e-sports competitions, and attend the FROG (Future and Reality of Gaming) conference, which this year focuses on "Gaming the Apocalypse.
" The event also features a cosplay parade, where participants dressed as their favorite game and anime characters will march from the Museumsquartier to the Rathaus.
Nintendo will showcase its latest release, "Super Mario Party Jamboree," ahead of its official launch.
The event includes a "Health Corner" focusing on nutrition and mental health, and a dedicated children's zone with age-appropriate activities.
