Tragic Crash Claims Three Lives in Austria

A tragic traffic accident occurred on Friday evening in Leopoldsdorf im Marchfelde, Lower Austria, claiming the lives of three Hungarian harvest workers.

The car, carrying five people, veered off the L9 road and crashed head-on into a tree.

The cause of the accident remains unclear, but fog and darkness may have contributed.

Three passengers died instantly, while two others were resuscitated and are now in serious condition in hospitals in Vienna and St.

Pölten.

The victims were seasonal workers supporting the beet harvest in the region.

Emergency services used hydraulic tools to free the victims, and the rescue team received psychological support following the incident.
