A tragic altercation unfolded at Vienna's Hauptbahnhof last Monday, resulting in the death of a 38-year-old Hungarian man.

The victim, who was reportedly homeless, got into a heated argument with a 54-year-old compatriot.

The confrontation turned violent, with the older man striking the victim multiple times on the head.

Despite his severe injuries, the victim managed to reach Vienna-Schwechat Airport, where he was found unresponsive the next morning.

He later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

The suspect, also homeless, was arrested near the scene of the crime days later and has confessed to the attack.

Police believe alcohol played a significant role in the incident.
