A 43-year-old man was found dead in a stairwell in Vienna-Leopoldstadt, initially suspected to have died from a stab wound.

However, an autopsy revealed that the man, a Greek citizen born in Georgia, died from a vascular disease that caused his skin to rupture, leading to massive blood loss.

The police were alerted by a resident who noticed the man's unusual behavior.

Despite initial suspicions of foul play, the investigation confirmed that no third-party involvement was responsible for his death.

The man was not registered at the address and was reportedly involved in the drug scene.
