Innsbruck's Landhausplatz was the center of vibrant National Day celebrations, marked by the traditional Große Zapfenstreich ceremony on the eve of the holiday.

This historic event, dating back nearly 400 years, saw military bands, traditional shooters, and various associations gather to honor the occasion.

Tirol's Governor, Anton Mattle, emphasized the importance of unity and community spirit in his speech, urging citizens to focus on collective strength in challenging times.

The following day, the Landhausplatz hosted an open house, attracting around 23,000 visitors who explored behind-the-scenes operations of local organizations.

Despite the absence of the popular airport festival due to budget constraints, the day was filled with engaging activities, including police demonstrations and children's entertainment, ensuring a memorable celebration for all attendees.
