The 11th edition of the Airpower show in Steiermark kicked off despite rainy weather, drawing thousands of aviation enthusiasts.

The event, held at the Fliegerhorst Hinterstoisser in Zeltweg, features over 200 aircraft from 20 nations, including modern fighter jets like the F-35 Lightning II.

Despite traffic delays, the excitement among the crowd remained high, with fans eager to witness thrilling aerobatic maneuvers.

The show also serves as a security exercise for the Austrian military, involving around 4,000 soldiers.

Enhanced security measures, including 250 entry gates, ensure the safety of the expected 300,000 visitors over two days.

The event is not only a display of aviation prowess but also a significant economic boost for the region.
