The Villacher Kirchtag is set to return from July 28 to August 4, 2024, promising a week filled with tradition, music, and culinary delights.
This year marks the 79th edition of Austria's largest folk festival, expecting around 450,000 visitors.
Attendees can purchase the popular Kirchtagsherz pin for five euros, which offers various discounts, including free bus rides and complimentary restroom access at the festival grounds.
The event will feature over 611 artists and 209 exhibitors, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere.
A highlight of the week will be the traditional costume parade on August 3, showcasing around 2,000 participants.
With preparations in full swing, Villach is ready to celebrate its unique culture and community spirit.
