A massive rock, measuring 0.5 by 0.5 meters, crashed through the roof of a house in Biberwier, Tirol, on Saturday evening.
The rock, which broke loose from a hillside, gained momentum as it fell, smashing through tree trunks and a safety fence before hitting the house.
It landed in a side room, damaging an oil tank and causing a minor oil spill of about ten liters.
Firefighters quickly contained the spill and pumped out the remaining oil.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
The nearby Ehrwalder Straße was temporarily closed for cleanup and inspection by a geologist.
Emergency crews, including over 30 firefighters, worked efficiently to secure the area.
