A massive fire broke out at the Binderholz wood processing plant in Jenbach, Tirol, on Friday evening, triggering a large-scale emergency response.
The blaze began when a silo filled with sawdust exploded, causing flames to spread to a second silo.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Over 100 firefighters from Jenbach, Schwaz, Buch, and Strass were deployed to control the fire, which was visible from afar.
Despite the rapid response, the firefighting efforts are expected to continue into the night, with authorities estimating that it may take several days to fully extinguish the flames.
The cause of the explosion remains unknown, and the extent of the damage has yet to be determined.
