In the wake of devastating floods in Niederösterreich, over 55,000 firefighters have been tirelessly working to save lives and protect property.

However, many of these brave volunteers have themselves become victims of the disaster, with their homes severely damaged by the floods.

The NÖ Landesfeuerwehrverband has launched a fundraising campaign to support these affected firefighters, emphasizing the need for solidarity.

Fire Chief Dietmar Fahrafellner stated, "This help is simply owed to our amazing members.

" The campaign aims to provide much-needed assistance to those who have given so much to their communities, even while facing personal loss.
