A 64-year-old Hungarian Fiaker driver caused a stir in Vienna on Thursday after veering off his permitted route and driving onto the Donauufer Autobahn (A22).
Police stopped him near the Kaisermühlen junction and found he had a blood alcohol level of 1.7 promille.
Hours later, the same man was caught again, this time driving an electric vintage car in the city center with an even higher alcohol level of 1.9 promille.
Both incidents led to police intervention, with his keys confiscated and charges filed.
Authorities are now investigating the case under Vienna's Fiaker and vehicle regulations.
