A 48-year-old woman from Schärding, Austria, was caught driving with an astonishing blood alcohol level of 3.96 promille.

On Thursday evening, she was reported by passersby for driving erratically in Brunnenthal.

When police arrived, the woman attempted to flee but was eventually stopped after a short chase of about 400 meters, using lights and sirens.

During the police intervention, she experienced health issues and was taken to the hospital but was released shortly after.

Her driver's license was revoked due to the dangerous alcohol level, highlighting the serious risks of impaired driving.
