A tragic motorcycle accident occurred on Saturday evening on Geschriebenstein Street (B56) in Burgenland, resulting in the deaths of two riders, aged 21 and 28. Witnesses reported that both men collided head-on while traveling at high speeds.

One of the riders was part of a group heading towards Lockenhaus when the crash happened.

Eyewitnesses Marco Simic and Vladan Siki, who were also on the road, described the horrifying scene, noting that one rider was thrown into the grass beside the road.

Despite immediate first aid efforts from bystanders and the rapid response of emergency services, both men succumbed to their injuries.

Candles have been lit at the accident site in their memory, highlighting the community's grief over this devastating incident.
