A tragic motorcycle accident occurred on Friday evening near Salzburg, resulting in the death of a 24-year-old female biker.

The accident took place on the Gaisberg mountain road, where the young woman lost control of her motorcycle in a blind curve and fell.

Two other motorcyclists, unable to avoid her, collided with her.

Despite the immediate response from emergency services, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The two other riders were injured and transported to the Salzburg Accident Hospital.

The Gaisberg road was temporarily closed to facilitate the cleanup operations.
