A tragic car accident claimed the lives of an elderly couple in St.

Gallen, Steiermark, on Saturday afternoon.

The 77-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle on the B117 road, crashing into a house wall.

The car flipped multiple times before coming to a halt 70 meters away.

Emergency services, including firefighters and medical teams, responded swiftly, but the 75-year-old passenger died at the scene, and the driver succumbed to his injuries later in the hospital.

The cause of the accident remains unknown, and the road was closed during the rescue operation.
