A 22-year-old woman from the district of Klagenfurt-Land was hospitalized after a violent encounter at a Perchten run in Pörtschach am Wörthersee.

The traditional event took a dark turn when three members of a Perchten group allegedly beat her with tied rods, causing injuries to her head and legs.

The incident occurred on Friday evening, and the woman required outpatient treatment at Klagenfurt Hospital.

Despite being able to name the Perchten group involved, the police are still working to identify the three individuals responsible for the attack.
