FPÖ General Secretary Christian Hafenecker has filed a lawsuit against ORF anchor Armin Wolf, accusing him of defamation.
The legal action stems from a statement made by Wolf during a ZiB 2 interview, where he accused Hafenecker of lying.
Hafenecker claims that Wolf's remarks were intended to damage his reputation in the public eye.
In a related media controversy, Hafenecker also criticized an interview with Dieter Bornemann on NDR's media magazine "Zapp," where Bornemann suggested that the FPÖ might shut down critical media if they were part of the government.
Hafenecker dismissed these claims as baseless and demanded the immediate dismissal of the journalist involved.
