Austria's largest ski area, Skiwelt Amadé, is gearing up for a bustling winter season, showing no signs of consumer restraint despite economic uncertainties.
The most expensive day pass is priced at 76.50 euros, with early bird discounts of up to 15%.
A significant investment of 96 million euros has been made to enhance the facilities.
The picturesque Gastein Valley, part of Skiwelt Amadé, is expected to attract over seven million visitors, similar to last winter.
Although recent wage increases have matched the high inflation rates, leading to a higher savings rate, the ski area remains optimistic about the influx of guests.
The true test will be whether the anticipated visitor numbers materialize as expected.
