This week, the eastern regions are particularly warm, with forecasts predicting highs of up to 35 degrees.

The sunny weather is expected to persist, although some areas, especially in the western mountainous regions, may see showers and thunderstorms.

However, a significant weather shift is anticipated next week, bringing cooler temperatures and more unsettled conditions.

This marks the end of what has been one of the hottest summers on record in Austria, characterized by numerous heatwaves and tropical nights, particularly in cities like Vienna and Linz.
