ORF's Summer Talks Kick Off at Traunsee

Published: 2024-08-05

The ORF "Sommergespräche" (Summer Talks) are set to begin on August 5, 2024, with Martin Thür making his debut as the host.

This year's discussions will take place at the scenic Traunsee, moving away from the traditional setting in Vienna.

The first guest will be Beate Meinl-Reisinger, leader of the Neos party, as the series aims to engage voters ahead of the upcoming National Council elections on September 29. Thür emphasizes the importance of addressing critical issues affecting the country, especially in a sensitive election year.

The interviews will be broadcast every Monday, featuring leaders from all parliamentary parties, and will focus on relevant political topics without distractions.

The change in location aims to bring a fresh perspective to the discussions, highlighting the connection between politics and the everyday lives of citizens.
