Austria is on the brink of forming a historic three-party coalition government as the ÖVP, SPÖ, and Neos engage in intensive talks.

The discussions, which began this week, aim to establish a "government of constructive forces," focusing on key issues like migration, health, and education.

Despite the challenging budgetary constraints, the parties are optimistic about finding common ground.

Neos leader Beate Meinl-Reisinger expressed readiness to renew Austria, while SPÖ's Andreas Babler emphasized the need for a broad majority.

The coalition, if successful, would mark the first of its kind in Austria's Second Republic, excluding the Greens from the equation.
