Austria's major political parties, the ÖVP, SPÖ, and Neos, have embarked on coalition negotiations to form a new government.

The discussions, described as a "Bündnis der Vernunft," aim to address key national issues without succumbing to minimal compromises.

The coalition talks involve seven main thematic groups, including economy, security, and education, with around 300 participants.

Despite past election tensions, SPÖ leader Andreas Babler emphasizes the need to move beyond campaign rhetoric to create a robust government program.

The parties are committed to negotiating thoroughly, with no set deadline, to ensure a stable and effective coalition.
