A 58-year-old woman in Vienna was left in critical condition after undergoing an illegal chin-lift procedure in a rented apartment.

The operation, performed by a 35-year-old Georgian man claiming to be a plastic surgeon, resulted in severe facial injuries and breathing difficulties.

Emergency services were called after her condition worsened, and she was rushed to the hospital for life-saving surgery.

The suspect, who lacked medical credentials in Austria, was arrested and is now in custody.
