A dramatic carjacking incident unfolded in Wels, Austria, on Saturday evening when a 32-year-old man violently attacked a 58-year-old driver to steal his Porsche Cayenne.
The assailant struck the victim multiple times before dragging him out of the vehicle and fleeing the scene.
After a chaotic chase, the thief crashed the stolen SUV into a lamp post and attempted to steal another car but was thwarted by the driver’s seatbelt.
Following a manhunt that included police helicopters, the suspect was eventually apprehended early Sunday morning after being spotted in a nearby garden.
Despite his violent actions, both victims sustained only minor injuries, while the stolen Porsche was severely damaged in the crash.
