Austria's political landscape is in turmoil as coalition talks for the so-called "Zuckerlkoalition" have collapsed.
The NEOS party withdrew from negotiations, citing irreconcilable differences over budget reforms.
This leaves the ÖVP and SPÖ with a fragile one-seat majority, raising doubts about their ability to govern effectively.
Meanwhile, the far-right FPÖ, led by Herbert Kickl, continues to gain momentum, polling at 36% and positioning itself as the largest party in Austria.
Kickl, who has criticized the "system parties" for blocking his path to the chancellorship, may benefit from potential early elections.
Experts suggest that an interim government or new elections could be on the horizon, increasing the likelihood of Kickl becoming Austria's next chancellor.
