Austria is set to experience a significant drop in temperatures as a cold front moves in from the west.
Starting Tuesday, the country will see increased cloud cover and frequent rain, particularly in the western and northern regions.
Geosphere Austria has warned of potential icy conditions in alpine areas.
The snow line is expected to drop to between 700 and 1,000 meters.
Temperatures will range from minus two to eleven degrees, with the highest values in mid-altitude areas.
By Wednesday, the weather will remain cloudy with occasional showers, especially in the north.
The snow line will further lower to between 500 and 900 meters.
As the week progresses, the clouds will gradually clear, leading to sunnier conditions by Thursday, although temperatures will remain low, ranging from minus two to six degrees.
