Sandra Krautwaschl, the leader of the Green Party in Styria, has faced a challenging election period.

Despite her efforts to maintain Styria as the "Green Heart of Austria," the party suffered a significant setback in the recent state elections, with their vote share halving from 12.1% to 6.2%.

This decline follows a series of losses in other elections, reflecting a broader trend of diminishing support for the Greens.

Krautwaschl, known for her commitment to environmental issues and her plastic-free lifestyle, emphasized the importance of direct engagement with citizens to counteract misinformation and stereotypes.
