Severe thunderstorms are expected to hit Austria, particularly in the western regions, including Tirol and Vorarlberg.
The GeoSphere Austria has issued an "Orange" warning, indicating a high risk of heavy rain, hail, and strong winds from Wednesday afternoon into the evening.
Residents are advised to stay alert for potential hazards such as flash floods and landslides.
While the west braces for storms, the eastern parts of the country will continue to enjoy warm summer weather, with temperatures reaching up to 33 degrees Celsius.
The unpredictable weather pattern is set to persist, with more rain and thunderstorms forecasted in the coming days.
Authorities urge caution, especially in mountainous areas and near bodies of water.
