A violent incident in Meidling, Vienna, led to the arrest of seven men early Sunday morning.
The chaos began around 5 AM when a 39-year-old Austrian allegedly fired a gun at two parked cars on Ruckergasse, prompting a mass brawl among bystanders.
Police, who heard the gunfire from a nearby station, quickly arrived at the scene and found the men engaged in a fight.
They arrested the suspected shooter along with six others, four of whom are Austrian citizens and three Turkish nationals.
The police also secured the firearm used in the incident, which caused minor damage to a nearby house wall.
All arrested individuals refused to provide statements to the authorities.
