FPÖ Pushes for New Elections

The FPÖ, led by Herbert Kickl, has announced plans to propose a motion for new elections in Austria, citing a "democracy crisis" caused by the formation of a coalition between ÖVP, SPÖ, and Neos.

Kickl criticized these parties as "clinging to power" and accused them of betraying voters.

Despite low expectations for support, the FPÖ aims to keep the motion ready for future action.

Kickl also outlined other priorities, including a ban on political Islam and restricting citizenship for asylum seekers.

He linked recent terror incidents to failed migration policies, blaming the coalition parties for the consequences.

The ÖVP dismissed Kickl's accusations, calling his actions a distraction from his own failures during coalition talks.

The FPÖ plans to introduce around 30 motions in the upcoming parliamentary session.
