Austria is set to experience a dramatic weather shift this weekend.

Starting Friday, temperatures will soar up to 35°C, offering a sunny and hot start.

However, by Sunday, a cold front will sweep in from the west, bringing thunderstorms and a significant drop in temperatures.

Regions from Vorarlberg to Upper Austria may see rain and storms as early as Sunday morning, with conditions worsening by afternoon.

The eastern and southern parts will remain sunny until later in the day.

As the new week begins, clouds and rain will linger, but improvements are expected by Tuesday, with temperatures rising again.
